Target Renovation Program

Target partnered with Poettker Construction on a 25+ store renovation program with projects located in both Illinois and Missouri.
With a goal to make shopping easier and more inspiring for customers, Target rolled out a plan to reimagine their stores with elements for the next generation shopper.
To keep stores operational during construction, our team worked closely with store representatives to minimize customer disturbances by scheduling sales floor work around peak shopping hours.
Although each project featured different elements, the overall new designs include:
- enhanced merchandise presentations by creating “shops” to help showcase trends and featured products for the season
- enlarged “Order Pickup” areas for customers to easily pickup their online orders
- updated entrance façades with Target’s new modern look
- renovated existing tenant spaces for additional retailers such as Starbucks
