Poettker Construction was the general prime contractor for the 42,000 SF full-service SIH Cancer Center.  This facility consolidated Southern Illinois Healthcare’s existing radiation therapy locations as well as its medical oncology clinics under one roof.

Amenities include oncology physicians’ offices, a rehab gymnasium, a healthy café, pharmacy, specialty retail shop geared toward patients’ needs and a cancer resource library staffed by a specialist to assist patients and their families.  Meeting rooms are available for cancer survivor support groups, community awareness events and other evening programs.
