HSHS St. Joseph’s Breese Hospital Outpatient Surgery & Treatment Center

HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese selected Poettker Construction for the construction of a 13,500 SF new hospital wing connected to the north side of the existing Breese hospital facility. This addition houses 17 private ambulatory surgery prep/recovery rooms, 4 private infusion rooms, support space, consultation rooms, waiting areas, and a new ambulance garage.

Designed to increase energy efficiency and patient privacy, each private patient room features nearly an entire wall of windows to invite natural light and private restrooms. The rooms are also consolidated into one area to limit patient transportation across the hospital.

Additionally, the central sterile unit and support areas for the adjacent emergency room were renovated to better serve the hospital.
