Aviston Elementary School Addition
Location: Aviston, IL | Owner: Aviston Elementary School District #21 | Architect: FGM Architects, Inc.
Poettker Construction is serving as Aviston Elementary School District #21‘s construction management partner to provide a 13,000 SF building expansion and light renovations to their elementary school campus.
Additions and renovations will include:
- New main entrance;
- New offices for administration;
- 4 new regular classrooms and 1 flex classroom;
- New Speech and consultation rooms, work/copy room, and board room;
- New bathrooms;
- Cafeteria expansion with new kitchen equipment;
- New HVAC and fire sprinkler systems and relocation of existing water heaters;
- Expansions to the waiting room and nurse’s office;
- Renovate current teacher’s lounge and conversion of existing admin area into student service area;
- Removal and replacement of playground area
