Poettker Construction earned a spot on Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) distinguished Top 400 Contractors list. The annual list ranks general contractors, both publicly and privately held, based on construction revenue for the previous year.
Keith Poettker, Chairman & CEO of Poettker Construction, said, “2025 was particularly special for Poettker Construction as it marked the 45th year of the founding of our family business. We credit our longevity to our quality relationships. That’s the reason 88 percent of our clients return a second, third, or even 20th time to work with Poettker Construction again.”
Revenue from Poettker’s 75 projects in 2025 propelled the company five spots up the list compared to its 2024 performance. Of the projects, 17 were classified as manufacturing and 3 as power.
In its coverage of the construction industry’s 2025 performance, ENR reported an 86.4% increase in data center buildout. The publication quoted Jeffrey Casey, Poettker’s data center and market leader, as saying that the company engages with owners, designers, utilities, and key trade partners early in the project process to “confirm power availability, procurement strategies and realistic schedules before construction begins.” He added that such a collaborative approach “reduces execution risk and enables us to deliver certainty in a market where speed and reliability drive selection decisions.”
Poettker Construction congratulates all the leading contractors on ENR‘s list.
