Poettker partnered with the Department of Veterans Affairs to deliver a 24,400 SF addition and renovation project at the John L. McClellan Veterans Hospital. The project involved complex construction over an active ICU, requiring careful coordination and precision. The project scope included:

  • Constructing five new operating rooms and one special purpose OR
  • Renovating the post-anesthetic care unit and multiple support spaces
  • Installing and upgrading advanced mechanical systems to support surgical operations
  • Constructing above an active ICU with minimal disruption to hospital operations
