Poettker Construction earned recognition as the 9th largest St. Louis Metro East business by the St. Louis Business Journal. The list ranks companies located in or just outside the Metro East region, including St. Clair, Madison, Jersey, Clinton, Macoupin, Bond, and Monroe counties in Illinois based on the businesses’ self-reported 2024 company revenue.

In 2025, Poettker Construction celebrated its 45th anniversary. The company employees 235 workers, with 198 of those located in the St. Louis Metro East area.

Poettker Construction provides construction management, design/build, general contracting, and self-perform services with an emphasis on exceeding clients’ expectations. Chairman & CEO Keith Poettker and President Ryan Poettker lead the second-generation family business.
