Litchfield CUSD #12, in coordination with other area school districts and community colleges, engaged Poettker Construction to transform a former agricultural warehouse into a Workforce Development Center. This regional hub delivers Career and Technical Training (CTE) for students across Montgomery and Macoupin Counties, equipping them with real-world, hands-on skills for in-demand trades.

The 41,000 SF facility supports training in auto technology, welding, and the Illinois Laborers’ & Contractors apprenticeship program and includes:
