POETTKER CONSTRUCTION RANKED TOP CONTRACTOR IN MIDWEST AND SOUTHEAST

The Midwest regional publication and the Southeast regional publication of Engineering News-Record magazine ranked Poettker Construction as a top contractor in the respective region. The lists, published annually, rank general contractors, both publicly and privately held, based on construction contracting-specific revenue.

With $305 million earned in the Midwest region in 2023, Poettker Construction earned the 48th spot on ENR Midwest Magazine’s 2024 Top Contractors. The publication cited the $105 million SIUE Health Sciences Building in Edwardsville, IL as Poettker’s largest project to break ground. The 221,000 SF facility will become the university’s largest building on campus.

Within the Midwest region, a sizable majority of Poettker Construction’s business comes from General Building, followed by Power and Manufacturing respectively.

Top Southeast Contractor

In the Southeast region, Poettker Construction climbed from the 86th spot in 2023 to the 84th spot in 2024 with a regional revenue of $113 million. Poettker’s largest project in the Southeast is the Gaston Commerce Center, which includes a 281,219 SF warehouse facility and a separate 420,567 SF warehouse building. All of the revenue in the Southeast region comes from the General Building market.
