POETTKER ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT & ESTIMATING

Five team members promoted in project management and estimating

Poettker Construction Company, one of the nation’s top-performing contracting firms, recently promoted five team members in the Project Management and Estimating departments.

In Project Management, Brett Timmermann was promoted to Senior Project Manager, and Jacob Kampwerth was promoted to Project Manager in Poettker’s Utility, Infrastructure, and Energy Division.

Timmermann has over 13 years of experience in Utility & Infrastructure, Retail and Healthcare markets. He joined Poettker in 2017 as a Project Engineer and has served in roles as a Senior Project Engineer and most recently a Project Manager.

Kampwerth has eight years of experience in Utility & Infrastructure, Retail, Municipal and Hospitality markets. He joined Poettker in 2021 as a Senior Project Engineer.

Both Timmermann and Kampwerth received their bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Garrett Schrage was promoted to Estimator. He joined the organization in 2022 as a Project Engineer. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland. Schrage leads Poettker’s estimating efforts on utility, infrastructure, and energy projects.

Courtney Huels and Blake Langenhorst were promoted to Senior Project Engineer.

Huels joined Poettker in 2022 and has six years of experience in construction management. She received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Langenhorst has a bachelor’s degree in Technical Resource management from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. He joined Poettker in 2021 and has over seven years of construction experience.

Both most recently served in the role as Project Engineer
