A Legacy of Quality

When U.S. Army Veteran and Bronze Star recipient Charles V. Poettker founded Poettker Construction, he instilled the leadership principles of our country’s service branches into a company culture that values high-quality craftsmanship.

Dedicated Quality Experts

Our dedicated Risk Management Team brings a combined 135 years of experience toward achieving quality excellence as a company. They collaborate with designers, manufacturers, subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party inspectors to identify the optimal plan for critical path tasks. Our on-site team members trained in quality control best practices ensure the exceptional construction of our projects through daily quality inspections and unmatched execution. Together, Poettker’s quality assurance and on-site teams inspect the most important details of your project twice.

4-Step Quality Control Approach

The Poettker team provides tiered quality control reviews throughout the design and construction process to ensure our projects achieve the highest degree of quality while staying on schedule and within budget.

1

Design Development Reviews

Drawing on our extensive project experience, our Risk Management Team and the project team develop a constructability checklist of potential issues that could negatively impact cost, schedule, or maintenance. We recommend solutions and improvements to enhance project quality and efficiency.

2

Preinstallation Meetings

Poettker Construction collaborates with all stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and inspectors, to review the approved drawings and physical mockups, discuss safety procedures and material storage best practices, set the workmanship level standard, and provide solutions to any concerns.

3

Installation Verification

After every completion of a critical path component, a compliance inspector will examine the work area, work completed, material storage, equipment, materials, and workmanship for quality standards and contract compliance.

4

Ongoing Site Inspections

Poettker’s project teams perform daily on-site quality inspections, our drone operator periodically records the site, and compliance inspectors regularly review the project to ensure continued compliance.

Meet Our Quality Leads

Poettker Construction’s Risk Management team supports our on-site teams with quality assurance inspections and meetings, distributes quality correspondence and resources, and identifies opportunities and best practices to enhance quality across our projects.
