Columbia High School Addition and Renovation
Location: Columbia, IL | Owner: Columbia CUSD #4 | Architect: FGM Architects, Inc.
Columbia CUSD #4 selected Poettker as the construction manager for 104,200 SF of new construction and 65,300 SF of renovation work to help the district meet current and forecasted growth for the next 10 years.
This project will include:
- a new 2-story academic/office wing which will include additional classrooms, administrative offices and a main entrance
- a new auditorium to expand the fine/performing arts program
- a new competition gymnasium and support spaces that will provide improved facilities for the athletics program
These additions and renovations will require complex scheduling and phasing over 3 years due to the size and location of additions.
