I-85 Commerce Center | Building 1

Location: Salisbury, NC    |    Owner: NorthPoint Development    |    Architect: Studio North Architecture

NorthPoint Development contracted with Poettker Construction to build a 676,630 SF Class A distribution center in Salisbury, NC.  This new tilt-up concrete facility will include 150 dock door capacity with 4 drive-in doors and a 40’ clear height.

Preparation of the 43 acre development, ideally located with direct access to Interstate 85, will entail:

  • Major Site Clearing
  • Mass Excavation with Cuts and Fills up to 30 foot
  • Stabilization and Drying of Existing Soil
  • Utility Extensions Under an Active Road and Railway
  • NCDOT Lane Widening and Road Improvements

Poettker has partnered with local mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler trade contractors to design-build these systems.  Our distribution and warehouse team is excited to deliver this new logistics center to the highest quality industrial standards.
