To support the integration of the Wish-Bone salad dressing line, ConAgra partnered with Poettker Construction to expand and modernize its St. Elmo food processing facility. The project focused on improving workflow efficiency and increasing production capacity within the existing footprint and through a strategic expansion.

  • Renovated 160,000 SF of existing space to streamline syrup and barbecue sauce production.

  • Removed twelve 36-foot tall interior silos to maximize usable floor area.

  • Constructed a 40,000 SF expansion featuring four commercial kitchens and a new bottling/packaging line.

  • Added quality control labs, administrative offices, and cold storage warehousing.

  • Poettker self-performed demolition, concrete foundations, and carpentry work.
