To accommodate growing enrollment, Aviston Elementary School District #21 partnered with Poettker for a phased expansion and renovation project, completed over summer and fall to minimize disruption. Key additions and renovations included:

elementary school hallway in blue and white colors
reception desk and waiting room with two blue chairs

  • Expanded waiting room and nurse’s office

  • Enlarged cafeteria and upgraded kitchen equipment

  • New classroom wing with 5 classrooms and restrooms

  • New speech, consultation, work/copy and board rooms

  • Renovated teachers’ lounge and repurposed admin space into a student service area

  • New fire sprinkler system and HVAC systems; relocated water heaters

  • Playground relocation and repaved play area and bus lane
