Poettker Construction built over 253,000 SF of expansions for Continental Tire’s Commercial Vehicle Tire (CVT) Max Building operations.

Phased construction to minimize disruption to operations
Pre-cast concrete walls
Moved 900 lineal feet of existing end wall panels about 110 feet out to serve as the wall of the new addition
Installed a temporary exterior barrier wall to keep the existing facility in operation until the new addition was weather-tight
Several multi-level structural concrete curing trenches to support the weight of the automated tire manufacturing equipment
